Unleashing Creativity: Keigan Pinto, the Maverick Chief Creative Officer

At the helm of FCB Ulka stands Keigan Pinto, a dynamic visionary who has spent over 19 years pushing the boundaries of creativity within the industry. Renowned and highly awarded, Keigan held the prestigious position of Creative Head at MTV India before joining FCB ULKA, sweeping the awards and leaving an indelible mark on the iconic channel’s creative landscape.

Keegan’s experience is as diverse as it is impressive. One of the few CCOs today who started out at ‘ad-school’ to earn a Post-Graduate Diploma in Advertising Creativity at AUT, New Zealand, Keigan trained at the best ‘kiwi’ agencies such as Colenso BBDO, WOW Rapp Collins, Y&R, and serendipitously FCB Auckland. After returning home, his illustrious journey entailed some of the best Indian ad agencies including Ogilvy, Lowe Lintas and Publicis. His work has garnered the highest recognitions, earning him prestigious awards from D&AD, The One Show, Adfest, Cannes Lions, AdFest, Abbys, Effies, Promax India, Promax Asia and more.

Notable campaigns bear the unmistakable stamp of Keegan’s brilliance. His masterpieces include the TATA Trusts’ ‘Two Bins Life Wins’ (Mera baba desh chalaata hai), Amul’s ‘Moochhon mein Taav’, The Times of India’s Out & Proud, TATA MOTORS’ ‘New Forever’, TATA MOTORS’ ‘Why go EV’, MTV STAY RAW, MTV ‘Beef Ban’, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance’s ‘Bande Achchhe Hain’ and TATA TEA Jaago Re’s ‘POWER OF 49’, to name a few.

Keegan’s artistic prowess extends far beyond the advertising realm. He is a gifted music composer and lyricist, consciously and constantly oscillating between commercial art and true artistry. His compositions have enlivened numerous ad films, including ‘Maa ka Pyaar har pal Amul’ for Amul Mothers for Mothers, ‘Shuru hua sab doodh se’ for Amul + FIFA World Cup, JIOMART BESTIVAL SALE for JIOMART + RELIANCE SMART, ‘Pehle Indian Phir Oil’ for Indian Oil, and the heart-warming ‘Love Unconditionally’ for Tata AIA.

With his foray into Bollywood, Keigan displayed his versatility by composing the captivating song ‘Faraar’, the now-superstar Jubin Nautiyal’s first film song, for the film Running Shaadi.com, further cementing his status as a multifaceted creative powerhouse. He also scored and wrote the official Indian anthem for Instagram Reels with star singers Armaan Malik and Jonita Gandhi.

Keigan has directed several ad films including a campaign for AMUL TASTE of INDIA – ‘mothers’, and the much-awarded AMUL ‘Moochhon mein Taav’.

Keegan’s presence at FCB Ulka fuels a relentless pursuit of innovation and creativity. With his unparalleled vision, knack for crafting unforgettable experiences, and proficiency in English and Hindi both, Keigan continues to energise the advertising landscape, inspiring colleagues and leaving a lasting mark on the industry at large.

Keigan also helps design Indo-Portuguese style villas in his family business and is a revivalist of Goa’s eroding architectural heritage. He is a self-confessed shoe maniac and is an avid etymologist.
